Suddenly write this!

Time constraint limits me to write more. Life becomes more robotic. We are rushing to finish the syllabus. Students come with extra exercises, topic which do not clear, and we teachers need to do some revision in lecture and tutorials. Plus some more works on the preparation of next batch students. And the cycle repeats. A very monotonous and dull life!

I have thinking deeply about this, a routine life. And remember what Ustaz Hasrizal said, Erti Hidup pada Memberi. Giving by a sincere heart. Forcing to give, is burden. Stephen Covey also said, the more you give, the more you get back. And i said, the best you give, the best Allah rewards the day hereafter. InsyaAllah, and this is a popular quote, you are what you give!

Lately, Hakim (my ex-students) the person that i mentioned in my last 2 years entry, i taught them Mathematics Form 3. He called me and told about his SPM result. He was happy with that and plan to study in KML, but in account because his Chemistry is E.

So why need to choose unhappy life? Choose happiness by giving more. The time you spent, the sleep that you sacrifice, and everything you give is sadaqah. The prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said in the following authentic hadeeth;

Abu Musa narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Every Muslim has to give in sadaqah (charity).” The people asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w.s.)! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?” He said, “He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns).” The people further asked, “If he cannot do even that?” He replied, “Then he should help the needy who appeal for help.” Then the people asked, “If he cannot do that?” He replied, “Then he should perform all that is good and keep away from all that is evil and this will be regarded as charitable deeds.” (Bukhari Vol. 2, Hadith 524)

Hopefully, i will educate myself to educate my students, to learn more, to do good deeds.Let us hasten to give sadaqah for life in this world is short and temporary while the world in the Hereafter is everlasting. We never know when death has been decreed for us. Today we live and we never know how long we will enjoy the pleasure of this world.
