KLIBF 2010 is back!

I have great pleasure to inform you that the National Book Council of Malaysia and the Malaysian Book Industry Council will again organise the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) in 2010. The 29th edition ok KLIBF will be held at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur from Friday, 19th March 2010 until Sunday, 28th March 2010.

I have been waiting this event for 5 years since my first year study in UMS. Unluckily, the book fair usually held in April, but traditionally April was our final exam month. I wish to be in PWTC when 2010 comes, and planned with Intan what book should we buy, which author should we meet, but again Allah's plan is the best, i'm in Labuan and still unpaid. He is the best planner!

I wish to dedicate the greatest thanks to my friends for their best gift: Fitdriyah Hussain (Dijalan dakwah aku menikah by Cahyadi Takariawan), Kak Lin (Hari-hari dalam hidupku by Zainab al-Ghazali) and Irsha Ismail (From Beirut to Jerusalem by Dr.Ang Swee Chai). Jazakumullah khairul jaza'.

So guys, what are you waiting for? Lets cultivate the reading habits. IQRA'!!!

My mother

She called me when i sleep in the sunday morning after bad headache due to Chemistry revision. She is lonely because really far from her kids, but enjoying attend kuliah, makan and argue small thing with ayah and mengaji tafseer every saturday morning. Besides, my mother started to be a botanist since last year, while ayah become a gardener who look after the petunia, ferns, lavender, vinca and whatsoever species in plantae kingdom.

Mother always work hard and delayed going back home. She teach the slow learner students without paid and really hope they are Quranic literate, able to perform a solah and practice their fardhu ain. Mother is really passionate about her profession as well as her botany!

Konvensyen Pemikiran Hassan Al-Banna

Sebagai sebuah NGO Islam, ISMA merasa amat terpanggil untuk mengemukakan pandangan dan kerangka fikrah dari perspektif yang bebas dan berasaskan kepentingan survival Islam dan umat Melayu. Oleh itu satu konvensyen pemikiran As-Syahid Imam Hasan Al-Banna akan diadakan pada bulan Januari 2010. Semua orang dijemput hadir.
